According to the reports, Britney Spears allegedly hit her head on a coffee table during heated arguments with her husband Sam Asghari in London before they decided to divorce.
The pop star, 41-year-old Spears, and 29-year-old actor separated after a 13-month break earlier this month, and new information reveals that the singer had to get stitches on her head. Harvey Levin, founder of TMZ, revealed these claims in the documentary Britney Spears: Divorce & Despair, which aired on Fox on Thursday.
“She and Sam had a fight in their hotel room, and it got so bad that Britney tripped and hit her head on the coffee table, breaking it. She needed stitches,” Levin said.
On the other hand, executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere stated that Spears’ alleged “instability” was too much for Asghari and that's why he ended the marriage. It was previously claimed that Spears had been physically violent towards Asghari on multiple occasions, once causing a bruise on his eye while he was sleeping.
Asghari reportedly told friends that the pop princess had attacked him during their seven years together, as reported by TMZ. Sources cited said there were numerous arguments where security had to intervene between the couple.
